Today we touched on our relationships with our parents, and then turned to a debate regarding whether or not it is possible for a person to be righteous and strong when faced with the challenge of having unrighteous parents. Although both sides had some great points, we saw that truly - our ability to be righteous depends upon us. We then looked at Abraham and his experience with his father (who tried to have him sacrificed to false Gods), and his example. Finally, we touched on the Abrahamic Covenant, and some of the blessings of the tribe of Ephraim.
